Her Universe “Geek Couture” Fashion Show

It is no secret that Fashioned for the Geek loves the costumes from BBC Sherlock. Recently I had the pleasure to take part in the Her Universe “Geek Couture” Fashion Show at San Diego Comic-Con. The show highlighted fashion designs that were inspired by the world of geek, and being able to express your geek in a fashionable way is an important issue to this blog.

I entered three designs inspired by BBC Sherlock, a mini BBC Sherlock collection.

I chose to construct design 1 “The Complexity of his Jumpers”, a John Watson inspired dress.

100% cotton gauze, underlined, with Hong Kong seam finishes, and hoop skirt for structure. Thank you Ashley Eckstein, Sophia Zarders, and Her Universe!
