The true summer vacation has just started for me, though I have been off since the end of May it finally feels like the summer vacations of high school, the lazy kind with no work. I don't know who has cared to visit my little blog but THANK YOU and sorry I have been away for so long. If you care to read on about what has been keeping me away from my blog go ahead and read below! If not, no worries, I'll be back very shortly for more costume design fun! Being a CSULB fashion design major means your life is filled with nonstop sewing and design. Since late January it had been nonstop, from long hours at school to a 3 hour commute to my amazing and unexpected internship, it was a long and busy semester. It was crazy but wonderful, I won a most unexpected award at our annual CSULB Campus Couture fashion show. Most innovative design!

Interning at the Universal Costume Department was absolutely wonderful!

My Friday morning walk through the Universal backlot. Lovely and Perfect.

Then I was off to Paris in June for a 2 week study abroad program. It was my first time in Paris and I fell in love with the city.

I miss it!

I miss it!

Finally then off to London and Northampton for 3 weeks, traveling by myself was an amazing and exciting time. It was so eventful and perfect, I'm ready to go back!

Now that I'm back home I feel so lucky to have had all of these experiences. I feel recharged and inspired, the perfect mixture going into my senior year of design! Thanks for reading if you were interested. Now back to costume design!
